Abstract

This papper aims to develop the historic building of the 1973 Brazilian´s Civil Procedure Code (Code Buzaid), until the constitution of the Project for a New Code of Civil Procedure in 2010. The text also includes a comparison between the Brazilian scenario and the reforms have been made in the Italian civil procedure, in the 1940’s Code.
